My brother was standing near a tea stall (note: on footpath and around 5 in the evening) he was having tea with his friend. they were not alone as it was 5 pm, many men were sipping their evening dose of tea. there came two khaki men riding a bullet hell what they hit my brother and his friend with the lati, baffled by this barbaric act my brother asked them for a reason so here you can see the reply in these photos.
we were very hurt and humiliated but do not have a clue as of why was he hit by police? many advised my brother to keep silent, in fact tea shop owner tried to console him by narrating few similar incidents. can we lodge a complaint? go to media? or just take the shit with pinch of salt?

Firstly, I regret for what has happened with your brother.
Secondly, would like to know in which area this incident actually happened (one such case was reported in BEL Circle a couple of weeks ago). Also, you should try to talk to your brother and find out what exactly happened over there. Usually, police do not act weird. But, there are instances reported wherein police attacking youth in public for no reason (those constables were suspended later).
Lately, I see there have been a lot of 'fresh blood' in the Police Department (new recruitment) who themselves act anti-social. If you really find no valid reason for your brother to be beaten up so badly, you can go ahead with complaint or media or both. Keeping mum will add more of shit in our daily dose of evening tea.
That's outrageous!!!These are things to be questioned certainly.
